Why has putting in a tampon stopped hurting?

This period putting in a tampon has stopped hurting me, it used to be the most painful thing and all that i could think about.. but now i forget its even in there. Im 14 years old so relatively new to periods. So I'm wondering if my vagina is just loosening as I get older, or has it been loosed by me being fingered, or recently i have started doing some kegel exorcises would that effect putting in a tampon?
