My rooming apartment mate EXORCISED the house (apartment), is he weird?

ok i recently moved into an appartment , for summer session of college, which starts in mid june.. Well, idk this guy, but he's crazy. Here are the things he has done: 1) he goes to his room and closes the door and says "i must enter the spirit world" and doesnt come out for several hours. 2) he was going through my stuff and claimed it was because he thought some divine/evil entity was in my stuff, i refused to let him. 3) the next day, there was this croud of people that were at the appartment when i came back from the store, these people were hired by him to perform an exorcism of the house because that man that is my appartment mate kept thinking there was something evil that i had. 4). he walks around the house with this electronic meter thing and claims to want to measure "for positive or negative spiritual/electric energy" , , 5. he sleeps with a magnet helmet on thinking it will cure cancer, . 6.i brought a friend to my appartment , but this guy embarrasssed me by spreading out on the floor with his arms spread and surrounded by candles, and then started chanting these weird vocalizations and talking to spirits for an hour, it looked crazy.
