Is this a fair deal? a 1981 mercedes 320 sl for $2000?

this guy is selling his 1981 mercedes (320 sl) I think? (diesel engine) 4 door for $2000. It has 222,000 miles on it. The radio doesn't work, and the ac needs to be recharged. He said he would fix them both before selling it to me. I drove it, and it seemed ok for a car with 222,000 miles on it. Not built for speed since the speedometer only goes up to 85. but that's ok. I've never had a diesel before, and you can really tell the difference when driving one as far as how loud they sound compared to a gasoline engine. Oh, and he also said that there is a leak (probably oil) he's not sure. but the car is 30 years old and I guess that's expected. He said it gets 32 mpg. Please help me out here, I don't want to get ripped off. Thanks
