How do I prove my speedometer is not working properly?

The dealership can take it and get it check/fixed (certified). They will be able to tell you how far off it was but to actually fight the ticket would be hard, as speeding is speeding. They will probably bring up the fact that u should have noticed assing cars, or something stupid like that.
