How can I exorcise the devil from my children's souls?
We are a good Christian family with our love for God first in our hearts. However lately I have noticed that my children seem to be waivering in their faith. My daughter (who is 13) said the other day that she would rather visit her soccer team friends than stay home and pray with me. I recently found out my oldest son, who is 24 and getting married in a few weeks, ignored my express efforts to stop him from learning about sexual intercourse and I'm sure he's corrupted his brothers and sisters. My youngest son told me he'd rather stay home because of some supposedly important academic commitment than go on the mission trip with our church. Aren't they being selfish in their defiance of me? I'm just trying to raise them be good Christians. Shouldn't they submit to their mother? Doesn't this show that the devil has possessed them to be defiant and waiver in their faith? Please help me in thinking of ways I can punish them. I would enlist the help of my pastor but I am ashamed of the anti-Christian behavior of my children.
